About Purple Pizzazz
Purple Pizzazz Show Choir is a musical ensemble that combines choral singing with choreographed dance. A performance experience for sophomores, juniors and seniors, Show Choir is a highly competitive performance ensemble. Show choir is a competition choir that participates in five to six invitationals throughout the tri-state area annually. Show Choir is a graded class that meets during the school day, though additional rehearsals are required through out the school year. Show choir travels extensively and requires that students be responsible, trustworthy, and maintain a high academic standard.
Requirements
A vocal and dance audition is required with the director. Students must demonstrate excellent choral skills and the ability to move while singing. Student members are required to participate in scheduled rehearsals outside of school, select competitions, and various community performances.
